A 10th century fort on the east bank of the Vltava River.
It has beautiful viewpoints with panoramic vistas of the river and the old city on the other side.
Inside the fort are the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, a garden with shading trees and imposing sculptures depicting scenes from Prague mythology, a cafe, a beer garden and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous Czechs.
