A completely vegan Middle Eastern - Mediterranean restaurant, with a very friendly owner and a large variety of foods. Very highly rated.
A rich menu of cold and warm dishes as well as sizzlers and pizza. Dishes tend to be very large.
Dessert is provided free of charge at the end of the meal without ordering it.
The owner might come over to ask if you liked the food and engage you in conversation.
Indoors the lighting is composed of bright overhead quarz spots with no lights at eye level.
Outdoors lighting gets turned on around sunset and is composed of LED rows stuck to the marquee and lightbox menus that extend down all the way to the two outermost tables at about eye level.
Outdoors there is one table for two further from the rest, while between the other two there are benches, probably meaning that people sitting on these benches might brush against each other.
Indoors the seating scheme allows for sufficient space to sit and get up without touching strangers. However, the path for people to walk through the restaurant is rather narrow and passes behind the backs of some of the seats.
When the restaurant is busy, indoors can get pretty loud with talking. Outdoors normal street sounds are heard, with the occassional siren from a nearby busy intersection.
Middle Eastern vegan food smells, including sizzlers.
The restaurant is located at street level.
There is one step on the way into the restaurant.
Take a seat and the owner or waiter will approach you when they are free.
If you sit outside and too long a time passed without anyone approaching you, feel free to go inside and tell someone you are sitting outside, in case they have not seen you.
If you cannot finish your food, you can ask to take the leftovers home. An alluminium container and a plastic bag will be provided, and you will pack your food to go on your own.
Both cash and cards are accepted.
All-gender, single cell toilets.
No stairs but narrow door.
There is an unlockable folding door between the wash basin and the toilet itself.
