Quiet post office with mail scales, postal supplies and PO boxes
Fluorescent lighting tubes on the ceiling
Not very crowded most days of the week, with a line 2-4 people long from 12-2 pm on weekdays and 10-11 on weekends during the warm months
Mild smell of paper and newspaper ink, occasional smell of adhesive, and road salt in the winter
There is one set of doors on the north side of the building, the side where general parking is.
You can drive around to the other side of the building, but that is only used for postal trucks.
You will know you are on the correct side of the building because it will be closest to the road, and will have a mail box.
When you enter the building, there is a desk to the front and slightly to the right. The desk has two service locations, each with their own scale. There is a bell you can ring if there are no postal workers at the counter, or you can wait at the counter and they will approach.
To the left of the counter is a split door. This split door opens into the package room and is occasionally used to troubleahoot delivery problems. The split door is usually closed unless they tell you to go to it.
There is a mail slot to the left of the split door that can be used to drop off mail, and there is frequently a large fabric cart that you can place outgoing packages into without having to ask the staff for permission.
