Salon Halit Art is a gallery that also served a limited assortment of drinks and organizes events. Fixed monthly events are exhibition opennings and closings, literature workshop and a music show. Other events include lectures, book launches and book readings. There is a small art library too, and books can be used on premises only. There are limited but cosy seating options indoors and outdoors.
During normal operating hours human load is minimal. During events, the place can be full or half-full. During lectures, readings and shows, guests are seated on wooden folding chairs next to tables. People may brush against you on their way to or from their seat, or you migfht have to move or stand up to let them pass.
Events, including music shows and book readings, are performed without microphones and amplification, because the event hall is small and resonant.
The main sourse of noise will be the conversations of people present at the gallery at any given time.
Close to its opening time the gallery is relatively empty and very quiet.
No particular smells have been detected
Information about events and exhibitions can be found on the website or on the flyer table at the gallery.
To order drinks, talk to the galerist. During events there is a little bar at the corner between the event hall and the entrance hall. Cash or PayPal accepted.
To buy art, speak to the gallerist or artist. The art can only be collected after exhibition closing. Payment can be done by invoice.
The toilet stalls are located several stais above the washing basins.
Each stall is marked with a vintage urinating boy or girl symbol, but between the stalls there is a sticker that optically changes between the male and female icons, depending on where you look at it.
Both stalls share the same washing area.
