A local coffee house chain offering various types of coffee, tea, meals, and snacks.
During the busier hours (specifically during weekday mornings and daytime hours on the weekends,) there will be some proximity to other people, usually a couple of feet while in the line, as well as between seating areas. Fortunately, there is outdoor seating that offers more room between parties if being inside is too overwhelming for you.
As the location is within a mixed residential-commercial development, there isn't prominent signage on the main road that leads into the development. If you're following live phone of in-car GPS navigation though, once you're in the development, the sign will be right in front of you and difficult to miss.
There is plenty of parking nearby to the location. There are approximately three parallel parking spots closest to the shop, and several more around it. But you'll probably be parking in the larger lot which is across a small street from the building the shop is located in. There is clear signage, both from outside the building as well as on the windows and pillars of the store.
The sidewalks and shop itself are accessible for people with mobility needs. If the shop is busy, it may be a tight fit for a wheelchair while you go through the line, though staff are more than willing to accommodate you, including coming to you to help you with your order. There is also wheelchair accessible seating both inside and out.
This place offers coffee, tea, food, and snacks for purchase and consumption. You enter through the double doors facing the street and walk up to the counter to order. While they do have a coffee menu on the wall to your right, they have clipboards with paper menus, divided by category of item (coffee/tea, breakfast, lunch, etc.) Alongside these menus are single sheets of paper with their seasonal specials. Finally, there are their baked goods, which change from day to day and are labelled with what they are and their prices. These are located both on the counter as well as in a small case beneath the cashier. If you need time to figure out what you want, you are allowed to take the clipboard and/or sheet and step away from the counter to figure it out before getting back in line.
The cashier is usually prepared to take your order immediately, but during busy hours, they may also be working on an order. In these cases, they will usually be with you within one to two minutes. The whole shop is visible from the coffee bar.
The cashier will ask you if you are ready to order. If you are, you can list off your order to them, or you can ask questions and suggestions if you're not sure what to order. In my experience, the staff are knowledgeable and know how to ask questions to help recommend to you something that you may like.
After you make your order, they tell you your total and can take payment in cash or card. Their card machine accepts card swipes, chip plus pin entry, and tap to pay. If you use the card machine, the machine will ask you if you are a member through CashApp. If so, you can enter your phone number and receive a requisite amount of loyalty points, which can be used in the future for discounts to your order. Finally, they will ask you for your name for the order.
Afterwards, you can sit anywhere that is free, indoors or out.
If you ordered a meal (breakfast or lunch, specifically) they will give you a small wooden tamp with a number on it. A server will bring you your meal once it has been prepared. If you ordered beverages and/or baked goods, then they will call out your name and you can pick it up from the side of the bar. Please bear in mind that if they are busy, they may shout out that name a little louder than normal in order to be audible above the conversation in the shop. If you are seated outside, they will usually bring the beverages and baked goods out to you, but on busy days they may not be able to do that while tending the bar, so you may have to go inside to listen for your name. There are utensils and napkins located by the side of the bar for your convenience.
Once you finish your meal, there are plastic tubs beneath the utensils and napkins where you can put the used dishes. If you need to leave in a hurry though, you may leave the dishes on the table and the staff will take care of that, but please use the bins if at all possible.
