Printing and copying sounds, as well as occassional loud noises from the back, from some machines.
When very full, conversation can also get loud.
The smell of ozone created by the printer/copiers
You can bring material to copy with you. If you want to print, you can email, share a folder or bring a USB stick.
When you arrive, you might have to wait in line. This can take quite a while, so plan to spend at least an hour on premises.
When it's your turn, approach the desk and explain what you need (in German or English). The employee can help you find the right paper etc. They might send you to pick up printed pages or use a copier by stating the number of the relevant copier/printer, and then you'll have to find it on your own. Let them know if something isn't working.
Once you're done printing, you can use the guillotines and staplers on the table in front of the cash register.
Approach the cash register with your printed matieral to pay, and inform staff if you are entitled to a discount for financially disadvantaged customers.
Paying and asking for help can all also take time, depending on how busy staff is.
Don't come with big, complicated print jobs just before closing. It is best to bring such projects when it's relatively not so crowded.
